1. How much does a Web site cost?
There is no single answer to this question. The cost of your Website depends on many factors: How big it is, the format of the page, how many images there are, who creates the images, if there is video, audio or other dynamic elements included, among many others. The only way to determine how much a Website will cost is to get a clear understanding of exactly what you need. Even then, as a job progresses, the estimate for a site may change as you decide to change or add elements to your pages.
We offer a wide array of Web Design services to suit our customer’s needs. If budgetary constraints are a concern, we can develop a Web Design solution to best serve your interests. Before Design begins, you will receive a written estimate that explicitly outlines what is included and what changes and additional features will cost.
There is no one answer to this question. It depends on how big or small you want your Website, what features you want included and your goals for the site. A simple, 5-page site can be done in less than a week. A large e-commerce site could take months.
Often, even after the original Website is created, changes and updates continue as your online business evolves. An accurate estimate of how long it will take to build a website will be determined after we figure out the scope of the project.
You decide how much you would like to participate in the creative process. If you want to design every detail, we can work more intimately during creation. On the other hand, you may want DropLine Design to create the entire design. The less involved you are, the more information we need (e.g.... information about your business, copy and images for the site, sales literature, logos, letterheads, etc).
The most important factor is that you are comfortable with the style and quality of work that we create. You will have final approval on all design elements.
Yes. All Websites require Web Hosting service, which incurs a service charge (you may be eligible to receive a discount by purchasing one year of hosting in advance). There are also additional charges beyond Hosting fees if your site requires monthly updates and maintenance. In addition, if you have frequently changing pages, we also offer monthly Webmaster services.
Absolutly! You have options. We can institute a Content Management System (CMS) so you can make adjustments without programming knowledge. However, if you have working knowledge of programming (HTML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, etc) you can make changes on your own. Remember: You own the site 100%!
